Welcome to Dottu. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dottu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Dottu is a mobile application that allows couples to send drawings, play drawing games, and stay connected through creative expression. The service includes:

• Drawing and sending illustrations to a paired partner
• Interactive drawing games
• ThumbKiss — a real-time touch connection feature
• Home screen widgets
• Drawing statistics and monthly replays
• Stickers and reactions

3. Account & Authentication

Dottu uses your Apple iCloud account for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your iCloud account. Each iCloud account corresponds to one Dottu profile.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all drawings and content you create on Dottu. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service (e.g., showing your drawing to your partner).

You agree not to create or send content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Contains explicit sexual content involving minors
• Infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

5. Pairing

Dottu allows you to pair with one partner at a time using a unique pairing code. Either partner can unpair at any time. Unpairing removes the connection but does not automatically delete previously shared drawings.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Dottu offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Dottu+").

• Free Tier: Limited to 5 drawings per day with basic drawing tools.
• Dottu+ Premium: Unlimited drawings, all drawing tools, premium games, stickers, ThumbKiss, replay videos, and more.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. One subscription covers both you and your partner. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's standard subscription terms.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Account deletion permanently removes:

• Your user profile
• All drawings sent and received
• All uploaded files (images, avatars)
• Your partner pairing

This action is irreversible.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use automated tools to interact with the service
• Abuse the reporting system
• Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Banned users will be unable to access the app.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dottu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dottu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dottu after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
